In Cote d’Ivoire, there are only two hundred architects for 26 million inhabitants. Clearly, there is a need for more. As African cities continue to absorb ever-expanding urban populations and as more people enter the middle classes, a new vision of the modern dwelling is emerging and Ivorian architect Issa Diabaté is planning it.
